It is approximately located 11 miles northeast of Syracuse, New York and 147 miles east of Buffalo, New York. The Chittenango Creek which is located on the west side of Bridgeport is the border in the midst of the two counties Madison and Onondaga. The New York State Route 31 is its main highway that runs east to west through the area. Roughly 71% of the homes found in Bridgeport are settled by their owners.
