New York is a state in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. New York is the third most famous state. The state is bounded in the southern area of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, eastern area of Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts. The area had a coastal border with Rhode Island, the same thing with international border with the Canadian county of Ontario in the west and north of Quebec. Usually New York is called New York State to determine it from New York City. New York City is the geologically the biggest city in the state and the famous in the United State and widely famous for its history as a gateway for immigration to the United States and its quality in transportation, financial, production center and cultural. One of the departments in the United State the city also had a destination of choice for different foreign investors. Both New York state and New York City are entitled for the 17th century Duke of York, which is currently James II and VII of England and Scotland. New York is inherited by the Algonquin, Iroquois, and Lenape Native American groups during the time of Dutch and French nationals transferred to the district in the 17th century. First proclaimed by Henry Hudson in 1609, the district come to had Dutch forts at Fort Orange, along the site of the current-day capital of Albany in 1614, that was occupied by the Dutch in 1624 at either Albany and Manhattan. Lately fall under the British captivation in 1664. |
