Victor is a hamlet in Ontario District, New York, USA. The estimated community of Victor was approximately 9,977. The hamlet is titled after Claudius Victor Boughton, a hero of the battle of 1812.The hamlet of Victor consists a suburb, also named Victor. The hamlet is situated in the northwest edge of Ontario District also is southeast of Rochester. The hamlet is the location of a substantial Seneca suburb Gannagaro, still the ethnic group deserted the small town also the region about it after a disagreement with French trespassers in 1687.Victor was in the Phelps as well as Gorham Investment. Early inhabitants began around 1789. The hamlet of Victor was created from region of the Hamlet of Bloomfield in 1812. The west as well as the north town railways is the margin of Monroe District.
